At Electromaps we are delighted to support Europe in the Green Transition, and once again we demonstrate our commitment on the occasion of the World EV Day.

From September 9, we give away an RFID key fob with each Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger purchase. This RFID-enabled key fob allows easy and safe charging with a single gesture in the thousands of public chargers that are connected to Electromaps throughout Europe.

Pulsar Plus is one of the most popular chargers in Europe, so we are very proud and excited that thousands of new EV users from all over the world are discovering our service and joining our community, which already has more than 270,000 members.

Electromaps, the “must-have” app for electric mobility

At the end of 2021, the European automobile fleet had nearly 4 million electric vehicles (pure electric and plug-in hybrids), while Europe is looking at 33-40 million in 2030.

At Electromaps we do our bit to help existing and future EV drivers, offering a free electropass with every purchase of a Pulsar Plus charger. This token allows users to start and stop charging at any charging point connected to our app. One way in which we intend to facilitate charging for electric vehicle users. "We want all citizens involved in electric mobility to be able to travel and move without worrying about the technical and practical aspects that this represents", explains Maximilien Kauffman, CEO of Electromaps. "And that's why this key fob is a good initiative! With a single gesture, bringing the token closer to the charger, charging is activated, which saves considerable time. It can also be very useful in case of battery failure or lack of mobile signal i, for example in an underground parking space”, he adds.
