A ocupação dos lugares de carregamento não deve ser motivo para marcar o posto como não funcional. Os carros eventualmente saem e deixam lugares livres. Além disso, também existem motociclos eléctricos que podem perfeitamente usar o posto mesmo quando este está indevidamente ocupado.
